2020-2021 Teacher of the year

Congratulations to Mr. Andrew Kounas for being named the Luther Nick Jeralds Middle School Teacher of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year.  He was selected by his peers and teaches 7th Grade Science.

Mr. Kounas has found ways to form relationships with all students, not just those that he directly works with. He’s truly one-of-a-kind! He has always been helpful in providing strategies for students academically. Not to mention he exudes joy and passion as an educator. As an individual, he always has a positive demeanor going above and beyond the call of duty.

His coaching ethics to the girl’s track team as well as helping with the softball team was crucial, to provide first-time young players with their confidence to try something new. We are blessed and grateful to have Mr. Kounas in our Eagle Family!
